<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system which estimates the position of a tool for a remote-controlled actuator capable of changing the attitude of a front end member for supporting the tool provided to the front end of a spindle guide unit having an elongated piped contour. <P>SOLUTION: The remote-controlled actuator 5 is provided with the front end member 2 mounted to the front end of the spindle guide unit 3 such that the attitude of the front end member is changeable, and the tool 1 supported freely rotatably by the front end member 2. The navigation system is provided with a tool working unit position estimation means 55 which estimates the position of the working unit of the tool 1 from the information of the position and attitude of a marker 7A detected by a marker detector 8, the information of the rotation angle of the front end member 2 obtained from the position and attitude of a marker 7B detected by the marker detector 8, and the information of the relative position of the front end member 2 with respect to the marker 7A and the shape of the tool 1 stored in an actuator shape storage means 53. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
