MALFUNCTION DETECTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction detecting system for a current sensor capable of reducing an overlooking abnormality.

SOLUTION: The abnormality detecting system 1 includes: a power cable 30M propagating a power to a first power load 61 having a fluctuating consumption power and a second power load 62 having a variable consumption power; and the current sensor 10 including a current transformer 11 mounted on the power cable 30M. The mulfunction detecting system 1 further includes a controller 50 detecting the presence of the abnormality of the current sensor 10 by supplying the second power load 62 with a current to be fluctuated at a second fixed value having a difference between both comparison-object values larger than a first fixed value when the difference between a first comparison-object value having a correlation with a value detected by the current sensor 10 for a fixed period and a second comparison-object value is less than the first fixed value. The controller 50 can detect the malfunction even when the mulfunction in which a detecting value does not reach the value close to zero is generated in the current sensor because the absence of the abnormality is detected at a relative value as the difference between the first comparison-object value and the second comparison-object value.
