PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the residual yarn T on a bobbin B with flanges B1 and B1. SOLUTION: This residual yarn removing device is provided with right and left set blocks 11 and 11 for setting the bobbin B, a stopper 12, a pusher 13, a shaft 14 and a movable blade 15. The pusher 13 positions the bobbin B in the axial direction by pressing the bobbin to the stopper 12, and the shaft 14 supports the bobbin B, and cuts the residual yarn T via the movable blade 15.
