摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electric-field light-emitting device that includes at least one organic layer formed by a wet film-forming method. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic electric-field light-emitting device includes a positive electrode, a first organic layer, a light-emitting layer provided adjacently to the first organic layer, and a negative electrode in this order. The first organic layer and the light-emitting layer are formed by a wet film-forming method. The first organic layer is a layer formed by insolubilizing a compound containing a dissociable group or a group expressed by formula (1) (in the formula (1), a benzocyclobutene ring may have substituent groups; the substituent groups may form a ring by being bonded to each other). The light-emitting layer is an organic electric-field light-emitting device made of a low-molecular compound whose molecular weight is ≤5,000 and satisfies formula (2): 0.6≤n<SP>H</SP>/n<SP>E</SP>≤1.4 (in the formula (2), n<SP>H</SP>represents the refractive index of the first organic layer while n<SP>E</SP>represents the refractive index of the light-emitting layer).
