PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book voice information-providing system allowing a user to obtain voice information of a desired book simply without requiring use of the equipment installed in a specific place. SOLUTION: The book voice information-providing system 1 is composed of a book voice information management server 2 and a cellular phone 3 used by the user. The book voice information management server 2 has a book voice information database 4 recording the information (voice information) obtained by reading sentences written in a book by a person and expressed by his/her voice, a book voice information-transmitting means 5 for transmitting the voice information of the book specified by the request information transmitted from the cellular phone 3 into the cellular phone 3 through the Internet 9 out of the voice information of the books recorded in the book voice information database 4, and a book voice guide information-transmitting means 6 for transmitting the guide information of the books recorded in the book voice information database 4 into the cellular phone 3 by voice through the Internet 9.
