<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent lamp apparatus by which designing the downsizing of a lighting equipment or making it thin can be made easy as well as reducing the cost, and to provide the lighting equipment installed with the fluorescent lamp apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp apparatus 1 is provided with a fluorescent lamp 2 in which a pair of electrodes 6 and 6 sealed by both ends 5a and 5b are in the same direction and with a bulb 5 bent so that a discharge path is meandered on approximately the same plane, a supporter 12a formed to be a flat shape which is wider in the juxtapositioned direction A of bulb ends 5a and 5b to support both ends of the lamp 2, a substrate 3 with a pair of connecters 26 and 26 for supplying power to both side surfaces 12c and 12c facing the juxtapositioned direction A, and a lighting circuit 4 contained inside the substrate 3 and lighting the fluorescent lamp 2 at high frequency by supplying power to the pair of connecters 26 and 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
