PURPOSE: A communication device and a communication method are provided to prevent unnecessary operation of receiving and transmitting data. CONSTITUTION: A transmission device periodically transmits data. A receiving device intermittently receives data according to a certain period. A first prescribed period(T1) is allocated in case of transmitting an ACK signal. A second prescribed period(T2) is allocated in case of transmitting an NACK signal. The second prescribed period corresponds to a period of retransmitting data at least one time.
