PURPOSE: A communications module authentication method and a device thereof are provided to reduce time and costs for authentication by simplifying an authentication process for an open type communications module. CONSTITUTION: A storage part(120) stores the result of the device authentication about a communications module. A communications module authenticating part(110) executes device authentication for the communications module. The communications module authenticating part stores the result of the device authentication to the storage part. A solution authenticating part(130) executes authentication for the solution where the communications module is applied. The solution authenticator replaces the result of the device authentication for the communications module which is stored in the storage part during the authentication process of the solution.
