A carton (190) for containing a plurality of articles (C) is disclosed. The carton (190) has sides (76a, 76b), of which at least one opens to form a dispensing opening (81a, 81b) that pivot outwards. The sides that open (76a, 76b) are hinged at the bottom and connected to the ends (12a) of the carton (190) by folding gussets (70b). The dispensing openings (81a, 81b) are opened by using a tear line on the top of the carton (190) the tear line partly defining a handle (100).
