MEMBRANE COMPRESSOR

FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: membrane compressor consists of case and cover with low pressure gas inlet tubes diverging from them, of high pressure gas outlet and of inlet-outlet of working gas or liquid. A corrugated membrane is installed between the cover and the case; joints of the membrane with the case and the cover are sealed with rubber rings. The corrugated membrane is made of two adequate membranes pressure tight interconnected along an adjoining contour; air cavity is formed between them. One of two adequate membranes has an opening in centre. A transient disk is leak-proof connected to the opening; the disk also has an opening in centre; one side of the opening is conjugated with the opening in the membrane; while to the opposite side of this opening there is installed a signal tube made as spiral repeatedly travelling along its axis in correspondence to membrane centre travels. Another side of the signal tube is coupled with a connector via the leak-proof padding tied with the compressor cover and coming out on its external surface. A two-position switch is coupled to this connector via the pipeline. ^ EFFECT: on-line detection of membrane depressurisation. ^ 2 dwg
