摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the flow velocity of the suction gas and increase the rate of suction flow. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A suction port structure includes a common port 16 formed in a cylinder head 12 for flowing-through of the intake air, and a first and second branch ports 18a and 18b branching downstream in the intake air flowing direction of the common port and opening to one cylinder, wherein the ridge of the branching part 20 of the first and second branch ports is extended approximately in a direction in which the first and second branch ports lie in line and in a direction perpendicular to the flowing direction of the intake air, respectively. A portion of one branch port which faces the other branch port is composed, in the range from the branching part to downstream about the flowing direction, of a first curve portion 22a (23a) curving with a first radius of curvature in the direction going apart from the other branch port and a second curve portion 22b (23b) curving with a second radius of curvature which is greater than the first radius of curvature.
