<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape having excellent adhesion between a silicone adhesive and a plastic film substrate, and a method for producing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The silicone adhesive tape is obtained by laminating a plastic film substrate through a cured product layer of an addition-curing type primer composition for a silicone adhesive comprising (A) a diorganopolysiloxane containing alkenyl groups on both molecular chain terminals and having an average polymerization degree of ≥100 and ≤1,000 and an alkenyl group content of ≥0.125 mol% and ≤2.5 mol%, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms directly bonded to silicon atoms in one molecule, (C) a platinum-based curing catalyst and (D) a reaction controller to a silicone adhesive layer formed on a separator for a silicone adhesive.
