Disclosed are an optical sheet that may be employed for a display apparatus such as liquid crystal display, and a backlight unit and a display apparatus furnished with same. The optical sheet is furnished with a base layer, a pattern layer that is formed on the base layer in a prominence and depression pattern, and a plurality of columns that are formed on the pattern layer to protrude above the height of the pattern layer and arranged irregularly. According to such configuration of the optical sheet, when it is laminated with another optical sheet, scratching and damage to the pattern layer may be prevented, and brightness may be enhanced. In addition, the backlight unit and display apparatus are furnished with at least one such optical sheet.
