PURPOSE: A fastening nut and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to select the length and thickness of a nut according to the purpose of a fastening nut by using a nut separately manufactured. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a fastening nut comprises steps of: forming a cylindrical body and a flange part through drawing of a plate(S200), forming a through hole of proper size on the bottom of the cylindrical body(S300), press inserting a nut and a fixing spring into the cylindrical body(S400), punching between the flange part and the cylindrical body to form a fixing hole and a fixing protrusion to be protruded in and out of the cylindrical body(S500), and cutting the outer side of the flange part into various shapes(S600).
