<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating apparatus for coating-material pipe line in which a satisfactory insulating part can be formed in the middle of the coating-material pipe line. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Gate valves 46a, 46b are interposed in both end parts of a part S to be insulated to construct an insulation part forming means for forming the insulation part filled with an insulating fluid in the part to be insulated where the pass of the coating material is stopped. A liquid supply path 47b for insulation for supplying the insulating liquid R to the part S to be insulated and a liquid discharge path 47a for insulation for discharging the insulating liquid R from the part S to be insulated are connected to the part S to be insulated between the gate valves 46a, 46b each other.
