<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether an exhaust emission control device for making NOx harmless by efficiently reduction-treating the NOx by a simple constitution should be used or not, in a machine such as a ship which drives a plurality of diesel generators. <P>SOLUTION: Exhaust passages 25 for a plurality of generating engines 12 include main exhaust paths 29 and branch exhaust paths 30. The branch exhaust paths 30 converge with one collective passage 26. At the further downstream side of the most downstream branch exhaust path 30 out of the collective passage 26, a urea water injection nozzle 47 and a NOx catalyst 62 are arranged at the upstream side in sequence. On/off-valves 28a, 28b are provided in the main exhaust path 29 and the branch exhaust path 30 of each of the exhaust passages 25, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
