APPARATUS AND METHOD OF RETRIEVING CHARACTER STRING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately retrieve a plurality of kinds of numerically expressed character strings using one retrieval formula irrespective of expression forms of the character string.

SOLUTION: A character string retrieving apparatus includes: a retrieval formula input means for inputting a retrieval formula for retrieving numerically expressed characters including specified characters for specifying the retrieval of the numerically expressed characters; a numerical expression detection means for detecting numerically expressed character strings from the text of a retrieval object; and a retrieval means for retrieving character strings coinciding with the retrieval formula and including the numerically expressed character strings detected by the numerical expression detection means on the basis of the retrieval formula input by the retrieval formula input means, and outputting it as a retrieval result.
