<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink set which suppresses the generation of blocking at an imaging part, is excellent in scuff resistance, excellent in cleaning properties of a nozzle face or the like of an inkjet head, and can stably record an image with high quality, and to provide an image recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The ink set comprises (a) a water-based ink composition comprising a pigment, a resin particle with a minimum film forming temperature (MFT<SP>0</SP>) of ≥60°C when it is made to be a dispersion product, a water-soluble organic solvent when the water-soluble organic solvent with an amount of 25 mass% to the solid content of the resin particle and water are mixed to form a mixed liquid, the minimum film forming temperature (MFT<SP>25</SP>) of the resin particle is at least 40°C lower than the MFT<SP>0</SP>in the water dispersion product, and water, and (b) a maintenance liquid comprising the organic solvent and water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
