PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of storing continuously shot images desired by a user. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes an imaging means, a setting means, a control means, an analysis means, a selection means, and a storage means. The setting means sets up the number of images to be stored. The control means controls the imaging means to carry out continuous shooting for images with more numbers than the number of images established by the setting means. The analysis means analyzes changes in an object image contained in a plurality of images continuously shot by controlling of the control means (step S32). Based on the analysis result by the analysis means, the selection means selects images of the number of images established by the setting means among the plurality of images (step S33).
