<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a Q factor from being deteriorated by supporting, by avoiding vibration energy from being leaked by supporting an inverse mesa type AT cut quartz resonator. <P>SOLUTION: By selecting a thickness dimension (h) of an exciting part and a thickness dimension H of a supporting end part under the condition where a frequency of higher harmonic thickness shear vibration at the supporting end part is not matched with a frequency of thickness shear vibration in the exciting part, no resonant phenomenon occurs in the support end part and an inverse mesa exciting part in the inverse mesa type AT cut quartz resonator. Therefore, vibration energy leakage caused by supporting fixture is suppressed, thereby preventing Q factor deterioration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
