PURPOSE: A keypad that a use can freely use is provided to remove inconvenience in writing a text message or a document because a user is not familiar with the use of a portable phone of another company. CONSTITUTION: In case of a touch phone, a keyboard setup blank is formed in a use environment setup function of a portable phone. A portable phone keyboard form of each different company is set by a setup value. A user can change the keyboard type of the portable phone to a desired keyboard type. In case of not a touch phone, a keyboard setup blank is formed in the use environment setup function of the portable phone. Characters can be seen on the keyboard by illumination.
