<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve accurate control in accordance with instructions desired by a user during control depending on manipulation sound of the user. <P>SOLUTION: A portable music playback device 30 executes a predetermined control operation based on the number of times of generation of pulse measured from the relevant pulse signal by converting audio signals collected with a right-side microphone 56R and a left-side microphone 56L into a pulse signal, measuring the number of times of generation of the pulses based on the relevant pulse signal, and ruling out the pulses generated within the no-detection period NT that is set as the predetermined period after generation of one pulse in the relevant pulse signal from the object for measuring the number of times of generation of the pulse. Accordingly, the number of times of generation of pulse can be measured depending on the number of times of manipulation by the user based on the pulse signal and the control operation can be executed depending on this number of times of manipulation in order to achieve accurate control in accordance with the command which the user desires. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
