<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass handrail and a construction method of the glass handrail that can be easily and surely installed on a floor in a building. <P>SOLUTION: A coping 30 has a groove 30a into which the upper end 20a of a glass face material 20 is inserted. The groove 30a has a vertical surface part 31 mounted with a cushioning material 31a, and a facing surface part 32 facing the vertical surface part 31. A fixing material 33 for pressing the upper end 20a of the glass face material 20 to the cushioning material 31a side to fix it is inserted in a clearance between the facing surface part 32 and the other side face of the upper end 20a of the glass face material 20. Consequently, since the glass face material can be executed after fixing the coping, the coping can be easily and surely fixed between walls, and the upper end of the glass face material can be easily and surely fixed being pressed to the cushioning material side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
