<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for processing a CVT element and a method for processing the same capable of correcting a saddle surface of a plurality of CVT elements and removing burrs at a time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The saddle surfaces 2a, 2a, etc. of the CVT elements 1, 1, etc. are processed by using the tool 100 for processing. The tool 100 includes: the tool 200 for correcting which includes a first pressing member 210 and a second pressing member 220 and can fix by arranging the saddle surfaces 2a, 2a, etc. of the CVT elements 1, 1, etc.; and the tool 300 for finishing which includes a guide member 310 and a slide member 320, and polishes the saddle surfaces 2a, 2a, etc. of the CVT elements 1, 1, etc. by abutting to a polished surface formed on the guide member 310 by sliding the slide member 320 by engaging with the guide member 310 in a state of holding the CVT elements 1, 1, etc. in a predetermined attitude at a predetermined position of the slide member 320.
