PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing a color correction by gray scales without losing the saturation of images, to provide an imaging apparatus with the image processor, and to provide an image processing method. SOLUTION: This image processor includes a gray scale classified color correcting function of determining the gray scale (S12) pixel by pixel (S11) for YCbCr image data, calculating a color correction value corresponding to the gray scale obtained in the gray scale determination from a color correction table having a prescribed color correction value corresponding to the prescribed gray scale (S13), and correcting color difference signals Cb and Cr according to the color correction value (S14).
