PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved side ditch with a permeable pipe, which can be constructed in a small space, and which can surely cope with even a large amount of rainwater. SOLUTION: This side ditch 10 with the permeable pipe includes a side ditch 20 for receiving the rainwater, and the vertically-elongated permeable pipe 30 which has a rainwater inflow section 32 provided in the side ditch. The side ditch 10 is also equipped with a permeation tank 40 into which the rainwater in the side ditch 20 can flow. The side ditch 20 and the permeation tank 40 are connected together with a rainwater-inflow pipe 50, while a connecting section 51 of the rainwater inflow pipe 50 to the side ditch 20 is positioned above the rainwater-inflow portion 32 of the permeable pipe 30 connected to the side ditch 20.
