PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure sufficient response to an operation by a user, and to surely make a stroboscope synchronously emit light at the correct timing. SOLUTION: In the stroboscopic controlled camera system where a camera 100 and a stroboscope 101 perform radio communication, the camera successively transmits a plurality of light emitting instructions which include timing information to the stroboscope 101, and makes the timing information to be included in each light emitting instruction different according to the transmitting order. The stroboscope 101 emits light based on the timing information included in the light emitting instruction received first of the plurality of light emitting instructions successively transmitted from the camera 100.
