PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microphone unit that arranges an electroacoustic conversion section for converting sound pressures into electric signals to cover openings provided on a substrate, and can precisely mount the electroacoustic conversion section. SOLUTION: The microphone unit 1 includes: the electroacoustic conversion section 11 that includes a diaphragm 112 vibrated by sound pressures and converts the sound pressures into electric signals; and the substrate 14 for mounting the electroacoustic conversion section 11. The substrate 14 includes: a substrate opening 142 provided opposite to the diaphragm 112; and a positioning wall 143a that is provided around the substrate opening 142 and abuts on the electroacoustic conversion section 11 to position the electroacoustic conversion section 11.
