<p>Galvanic cell comprises two stacks of electrodes, each with a conductor that extends through a surrounding casing comprising two parts, one of which has a higher thermal conductivity than the other. Independent claims are also included for: (1) battery comprising at least two galvanic cells as above arranges in parallel and a temperature control element in contact with at least one part of the casing of at least one cell; (2) operating a battery as above, where the temperature of the temperature control element is selected as a function of the desired operating temperature of the cells; (3) producing a galvanic cell as above by joining the parts of the casing together and bending at least one part to reduce its dimensions.</p> |
