A method for fabrication of boiler tubes made of carbon and low alloy steel includes multipass hot deformation of ingots into a finished tube with total drawing of 5-10 and final pilger rolling, at the same time the material of deformed ingots is selected on the base of content therein of non-metallic inclusions. The content of sulphides, oxides and silicates in the material of deformed ingots is limited - not more than 3.5 points for each type, and the process of final pilger rolling is conducted in such a manner that the temperature of its termination is by 70-140 °C above the critical point (Ac) of deformed steel.
