PURPOSE: A backlight assembly and a method of manufacturing a light guide plate are provided to reduce the number of sheets. CONSTITUTION: A light source unit(110) generates light. A light guide plate(120) receives the light. The light guide plate changes a route of the light and emits the light. The light guide plate comprises an incident surface, a reflective surface, and an intaglio dispersion pattern. The incident surface is adjacent to the light source unit.
