PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal which extracts fixed information from an ic card mounted according to an IC card application code of a web page and a control method thereof, and a financial transaction request system including the mobile communication terminal and a control method thereof are provided to access an IC card through communication between a web browser and a platform or an operating system, thereby extracting fixed information. CONSTITUTION: A web page processing unit(110) parses and renders a markup tag of a received web page. The web page processing unit generates an IC card information request signal. An IC card interface unit(130) transceives a signal with a mounted IC card. A terminal controller(120) transfers the IC card information request signal to the IC card. The terminal controller transmits the received IC card information to the web page processing unit.
