PURPOSE: A toilet bowl having the disinfection function is provided to prevent skin diseases and bacteria infection by sterilizing the toilet bowl with ultraviolet rays. CONSTITUTION: A toilet bowl having the disinfection function includes: a toilet main body(110); a sheet(120) which is hinge-coupled with the toilet main body; a cover(130) which is located on the top of the sheet and hinge-combined with the toilet main body; an ultra-violet ray lamp(140) which is prepared at the lower part of the cover; and a detection sensor(134) which is prepared at the upper or lower part of the sheet and detects the cover whether it is opened and turns on/off the ultra-violet rays lamp according to the cover switching state.
