PURPOSE: A fastening device for a wedge fastening type scaffold is provided to maintain horizontality of a horizontal bar and to easily determine the position of a wedge guide member. CONSTITUTION: A fastening device for a wedge fastening type scaffold comprises supporters(2) and a coupler(4). The supporters are fixed to the outer surface of a post(1). The coupler is embedded in the end of a horizontal bar(3) so that the front end is exposed. The horizontal bar is placed between two posts. The coupler is coupled to the supporter. The coupler has a wedge(9), a wedge guide member(11), a separation preventing pin(16), and a plate spring(17). A wedge is movably inserted into the wedge guide member. The plate spring biases the separation preventing pins toward the wedge.
