PURPOSE: A turning gear free from passage interference is provided to prevent from interfering a passage by being installed on the lower part of the passage. CONSTITUTION: A fixed frame(10) is perpendicularly formed in order to be parallel to the central shaft of a wheel gear(9) on the lower part of the passage(8) of a ship engine. A reduction device(3) to which the pinion shaft(4) of a pinion gear(5) is connected is fixed to the fixed frame by a fastening bolt and fixes the turning gear(1) to the lower part of the passage. A handle(7) which is connected to the operation lever(6) of the pinion gear and operates the operation lever is located directly under the passage. The turning gear does not interfere the passage and the handle operates the pinion gear in the passage. |
