The seat (100) has a base for connecting a pan (110) to a floor pan of a vehicle and with feet (121, 122) connected to vertical support posts (123, 124) of a backrest (112) of the pan. A support bar (150) is integrated to the posts, and a guiding unit (130) communicates with a control unit that is secured to the backrest, to guide displacement of the pan in translation in a preset direction during crash. An energy absorber unit (140) communicates with the control unit to absorb kinetic energy of the seat to control a deceleration of the pan to which an individual is subjected. |
