PURPOSE: A 3D PW(Pulsed Wave) spectrum ultrasonic diagnostic device and a 3D PW spectrum data generating method thereof are provided to minimize the loss of spectrum waveform due to the movement of a sonographer by receiving a first and a second PW Doppler response signal through a 2D array probe. CONSTITUTION: A transceiver(210) transmits a first and a second PW Doppler ultrasonic signal to an object by using a 2D array probe. The transceiver receives a first and a second PW Doppler response signal corresponding to the first and second PW Doppler ultrasonic signal from the object. A forming part(220) forms a 3D sample gate by using the first and the second PW Doppler response signal. A generating part(230) generates 3D PW spectrum data by using the 3D sample gate.
