PURPOSE: An artificial marble using supersized chips, which manufactures cylindrical large sized chip and a method of manufacture thereof is provided to form unique patterns by manufacturing large sized chips which has a rounded cross section. CONSTITUTION: An artificial marble using supersized chips(10) is as follows. A resin composition for chip is cured in a tube. The cured material is exhausted from the pipe and is cut to make chips. A film(1) which is moving is smeared with a solvent(3). The chips are sprayed on the film which is smeared with the solvent. The chips that are not stuck on the film are removed by evaporating air and solvent. A resin composition for background(8) is poured on the film with chips. The resin composition for the natural disposition is cured in a mold.
