PURPOSE: Construction equipment with a rear monitoring unit is provided to automatically output a video photographed by a rear monitoring camera on a monitor when exhaust pressure exceeds pre-determined reference pressure. CONSTITUTION: Construction equipment with a rear monitoring unit comprises a rear monitoring camera(13), a monitor(14), a drive detector for a hydraulic pump, and a video signal off device. The rear monitoring camera is installed in the rear side of an upper frame(2) and outputs photographs the rear side of the construction equipment. The monitor is installed inside a cabin cap(3) installed in the upper frame and outputs a video signal photographed by the rear monitoring camera. The drive detector detects whether a hydraulic pump is powered. The video signal off device automatically turns off the video signal output from the monitor. |
