<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting apparatus which can protect a light-emitting element, and enables simplification of the circuit design. <P>SOLUTION: One end of a lead line 2 is connected to an electrode 31 of an LED chip 3 (a cathode of the LED chip 3) by a wire 5. In addition, an electrode 32 of the LED chip 3 (the cathode of the LED chip 3) is connected to an electrode 41 of a semiconductor element 4 (an anode of a zener diode) by the wire 5.
