PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the resolution of an image formed by a lens array.

SOLUTION: In the lens array in which a plurality of lens elements are arranged to form a row extending in a direction almost orthogonal to an optical axis, the lens element comprises: a first lens-curved surface projecting to an object surface side; and a second lens-curved surface sharing the optical axis with the first lens-curved surface. The lens element is formed in such a manner that all light beams incident on the first lens-curved surface are incident on the second lens-curved surface.
