PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic element preventing a termination of a coil from being positioned on a ring mounting part. SOLUTION: The magnetic element 10 includes a first core member 20, a second core member 40, the coil 30 disposed on a spool part 24, and a base 50 which includes a first mounting part 52 on which the first core member 20 is mounted, and a second mounting part 53 which is protruded beyond the first mounting part 52 and is positioned between both the ends and on which the second core member 40 is mounted, and from a side of which a plurality of terminals 51 are projected. A projection 56 extending in a direction apart from the second mounting part 53 is provided on an end of the second mounting part 53 so as to be thinner than the base 50. The termination 32 is positioned on the back surface of the projection 56 on the opposite side of a side on which the second core member 40 of the projection part 56 is mounted and is then entwined on the terminal 51.
