<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower and a vacuum cleaner using the same, having high air blowing efficiency, by reducing a loss when cooling a rotor part and a stator part. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of hole parts 70 are arranged in an upper surface part 69 of a bracket 55, and a second air guide 73 is arranged on its downstream side. By constituting so as to cool the rotor part 53 and the stator part 54 by supplying at least a part of air flowing in from an intake port 68 to a bracket 55, while holding sufficient cooling performance, a bending loss and a sudden expansion loss are reduced, and the air blowing efficiency can be improved.
