<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skid preventing device more evenly applied with load, thereby hard to wear, having at least one limp holding means, and highly reliable. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The skid preventing device 1 for a vehicular wheel 3 includes a traction element T, at least one limp holding means 8 holding the traction element T on a grounding surface 7 of the vehicular wheel 3 in a mounted state, and at least one link member 40 through which the at least one holding member 8 is connected to the traction element T. In order to more evenly apply load to the at least one limp holding means 8 to make it hard to wear, the holding means 8 is configured to be oriented in advance so as to extend in the radial R and circumferential U directions from the link member 40 toward a hub N of the wheel and to be fixed to the link member 40.
