<p>Disclosed is the isolation/identification of a gene associated with deep-water tolerance. Also disclosed is a use of the gene. A polynucleotide encoding a protein comprising the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:4 is isolated as a gene associated with deep-water tolerance. The use of the gene enables the production of a plant which can exhibit deep-water tolerance readily.</p> |
