PURPOSE: A pipe insulating material and a manufacturing method of the same, which variously can change the shape of a pipe insulating material with a sewing machine are provided to control the thickness of pipes by controlling the number of laminated fiber felts. CONSTITUTION: A pipe insulating material manufacturing method comprises a step of preparing a sewing machine(130). The sewing machine comprises a frame, a needle panel(131), and a plurality of sewing needles(133). The needle panel is fixed to the frame and is formed in a predetermined curvature. A plurality of sewing needles sews the objects placed on the needle panel. A fiber felt(110) for the laminated insulation is offered to the needle panel. The laminated fiber felts for insulation are sewn with a plurality of sewing needles. The insulating material with the curvature corresponding to the curvature of the needle panel is manufactured.
