<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endless-type seal ring which can easily be fitted in a sealing groove with small force and a continuously variable transmission using this seal ring. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing ring 1 includes an outer circumferential member formed of a resin material and an inner circumferential member formed of an elastic material. The endless-type seal ring 1 is formed by integrally forming the outer circumferential member 2 and the inner circumferential member 3. The outer circumferential member 2 has cut parts 2a at one or more places in an axial direction. The seal ring 1 is fitted in the sealing groove provided on the outer diameter surface of an inside member sealing the inside of an outside member.
