<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for automatically creating multiple-choice questions, the device automatically creating, in cooperation with electronic dictionary data, multiple-choice questions to test the level of comprehension of a word. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device for automatically creating multiple-choice questions includes: a dictionary data storage means (5) storing dictionary data where attributes of the word are described in an individually extractable form; a form storage means (9) storing the form of a question where a correct answer is chosen from a plurality of choices; an input means (2) determining the word to be a question; a choice extracting means (7) extracting choices out of the dictionary data on the basis of the attribute of the word to be the question; and a question creating means (10) creating questions by setting the word to be the question and the choices to the form.
