LIGHT MODULATION FILM

A light modulation film which comprises: two transparent conductive resin substrates (4) each comprising a transparent conductive film (5a) and a transparent resin base (5b); and a light modulation layer (1) sandwiched between the conductive-film sides of the two transparent conductive resin substrates, the light modulation layer comprising a resin matrix (2) and a light-modulating suspension (3) dispersed in the resin matrix.  At least one of the two transparent conductive resin substrates has a primer layer (6) on the surface of the transparent conductive film, and the transparent conductive film of the transparent conductive resin substrate having the primer layer has been cut by forming an incision therein so that the layer has the shape of a design or character.  The incision line forms a closed shape in which the incision starting point and the incision end point coincide, and the area having the shape of a design or character is electrically insulated from the surrounding transparent conductive film of the transparent conductive resin substrate.  This configuration improves adhesion between the film matrix and the substrate and makes it possible to provide the light modulation film which performs the function of stably modulating light.
