PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat allowing a device for rear collision to be downsized, excellent in the response, and equipped with a rear-end-collision reducing function. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat S includes a rotation member 30 capable of independently operating, and a rotary damper 50 for absorbing impact energy. The rotary damper 50 makes a side frame 15 incline backward by a predetermined impact load to the side frame 15 while absorbing energy of the load. The rotation member 30 connected to a pressure-receiving member 20 for supporting an occupant's body makes the pressure-receiving member 20 sink to the rear side of the seat back frame 1 through the predetermined impact load.
